Be Doers of the Word NOT Just Hearers Deceiving Yourself!
And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’
On Sunday, I always want to write happy and uplifting material—something funny or trivial that makes people feel good. Once, many years ago, when I thought I was having a heart attack through the process, I was making jokes and trying to be funny. I was afraid and worried but wanted to appear not to be.
This morning, I read Ephesians 5 a few times. It may be the most concise chapter in the Bible about where we are today. The opening scripture instructs us to be imitators of God as beloved children. I wrote about what God hates a couple of newsletters ago; we understand what God likes in this scripture. So, to be imitators of God, we must love the things He loves, hate the things he hates, and live accordingly. That is the mission if we accept it for the ultimate reward of eternal life.
It is easy to start the walk of salvation by grace; believe that the God who gave us the Bible is accurate; it contains His words and directions. If that is true, there are no other Gods. The path to the most important journey is to Hear, Believe, Repent, Confess, and be Baptized.
I am seeing right now that thousands, even millions, are finding that path or seeing it clearly for the first time all across our country and the world. Many high-profile people in the public eye are willing to risk everything to stand for truth, justice, and the American way, to use the Superman phrase from my childhood. What is the American way? It is God’s way, regardless of what anyone says or how the evil machine tries to spin it.
5 Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, 16making the best use of the time because the days are evil.
This stuff with the rapper Diddy has been going on for a long time. His arrest is an attempt to be like Epstein, a cover for all the elites that like raping children and practicing sick, perverted sex acts and satanic rituals. In a civil, God-fearing society, all these would be brought to justice, and the courts would be full of lawsuits from the victims.
Unfortunately, millions attend churches today without knowing what is happening worldwide. Many will leave, and by the time the Cowboys start, they will forget what they heard in church. One of the services I attended online today was on Jonah. What an excellent opportunity to point out this evil, violence, child abuse, and sacrifice we see today in the USA! But like Jonah, the church, many indoctrinated and addicted individuals don’t want to go there. In another sermon I listened to, I will share, said 60% of pastors watch porn weekly.
We have all seen the effects of crack and meth on people seeking a way out of reality. My generation has become the most addicted, and in denial of any, I can find in history or the Bible. The addiction is to the comfort of the lifestyle that has been created by the evil machine that not only allows these evils but orchestras, manages, and covers them up.
The line between good and evil is thin. Satan slices it and shades it to create a middle ground. In that middle ground where we fight and war over things already clear in scripture. For just one example, it is always evil to take an innocent human life God created, especially for profit or convenience.
Taking lives by war, medical procedures, medicine, unhealthy food, fake news, and false narratives all supported by lies is the epitome of evil.
That is why the United States must remain independent, and the First Amendment must be restored. If the Government doesn’t go after the Diddy sex crimes like they do Christians who spoke at school boards, prayed at abortion clinics, and were in Washington D.C. on January 6 but committed no crime, then we know this: they are on the side of evil.
Christians are still the biggest voting block, so what will it be? There are only two choices, and no perfect choice exists.
Jesus said in Matthew 7:21
“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 That day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ 23 And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’
James 1:22
